Dy CM Pawan Calls for Strong Bureaucratic Leadership, Hails Chandrababu Naidu's Vision
In a stirring address at the launch of the Swarnandhra Vision-2047 at Indira Gandhi Stadium in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan underscored the critical role of senior bureaucrats in translating the state’s Vision Document into action. Speaking candidly, Kalyan pointed out that had the higher officials acted with determination in the past five years, many of the current issues could have been avoided. He emphasized that the bureaucrats are the key link between the government and the people, tasked with ensuring the vision laid out by the Chief Minister reaches every corner of the state effectively.
Kalyan urged the senior officials not to repeat the past mistakes of indecision and fear but to take bold and responsible actions to carry forward the Vision Document. He stressed that it is their duty to effectively communicate and implement the vision designed by the Chief Minister. “The responsibility to take the Vision Document to the people lies with the senior officials,” he said, calling for greater accountability in fulfilling this task. He also praised the electorate for delivering a strong mandate in the recent elections, reinforcing that public participation is essential in realizing the state's developmental goals. "It is through people’s participation and involvement that we can work together for substantial change," Kalyan added.
The Deputy Chief Minister highlighted the importance of maintaining the responsibility and dedication shown during the election period. He expressed his firm belief in the power of transparency, stating, "We must continue to demonstrate the same commitment we showed during the elections to ensure the successful implementation of the vision." Concluding with his signature straightforwardness, Kalyan said, “My goal is simple—to ensure the progress of the state, and I will do so with transparency and commitment.”
Pawan Kalyan Hails N. Chandrababu Naidu as the Architect of Andhra Pradesh’s Progress
In addition to his discussion on the Vision Document, Pawan Kalyan took the opportunity to praise the leadership and foresight of former Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu. Recalling Naidu's contributions to the state’s development, Kalyan described him as a visionary leader who had a transformative impact on the state’s economy, infrastructure, and overall progress.
Kalyan particularly highlighted Naidu’s role in shaping the Vision 2020 plan, which laid the groundwork for many of the state’s most significant achievements. He explained that after experiencing the difficulties of running his own political party, he gained a deeper appreciation for Naidu’s leadership and strategic thinking. "Only after leading my own party did I understand the challenges of governance. This gave me a new-found respect for Naidu’s vision and dedication," Kalyan remarked.
Kalyan also acknowledged Naidu’s monumental achievements, especially the development of Cyberabad, which today stands as a thriving IT hub. He described Naidu as the "architect" of Cyberabad, a place that has provided jobs to millions and transformed the region into a global tech destination. "What was once barren land has now become a booming metropolis, and it is all due to Naidu’s vision and persistence," Kalyan said. He pointed out that Naidu’s ability to envision and realize such a massive transformation demonstrated his commitment to the state’s progress.
The Deputy Chief Minister also reflected on the challenges Naidu faced, including the tragic destruction of the Twin Towers in the 2000s by terrorists. Kalyan noted that these towers, built under Naidu’s leadership, were symbolic of Andhra Pradesh’s modern aspirations. He criticized past leaders who failed to understand the value of such projects, which Naidu championed. "Despite facing numerous challenges, Naidu never wavered from his goal of progress for the people of Andhra Pradesh," Kalyan remarked.
Pawan Kalyan also praised Naidu's leadership style, particularly his patience, perseverance, and focus on public welfare. "Naidu always focused on the people’s dreams rather than personal gain. His leadership has always been about creating a better future for the people of Andhra Pradesh," Kalyan said. Expressing pride in working with Naidu, Kalyan stated, "It is an honor to work with such an experienced and visionary leader. His legacy of development is something we all need to carry forward."
In conclusion, Kalyan called for continued collaboration between political leaders, bureaucrats, and the people to achieve the goals set out in Swarnandhra Vision-2047. He stressed the importance of transparent, accountable leadership, with a strong commitment to the state’s progress. "Let us work together to bring this vision to life, for the betterment of every citizen of Andhra Pradesh," Kalyan urged.
