MLC Lella Appi Reddy Honors Guntur Business Icon Atukuri Anjaneyulu

Guntur ( Journalist File ) : Marking the occasion of Andhra Pradesh Formation Day, YSR Congress MLC and state general secretary, Lella Appi Reddy, honored Atukuri Anjaneyulu, a stalwart in the business community and long-standing president of the Guntur District Chamber of Commerce. Anjaneyulu, who has held this position for a record-breaking 34 years, has been consistently recognized for his contributions toward the welfare of businesspersons and traders in the region.

At a ceremony held at Anjaneyulu's residence on Friday, Appi Reddy lauded him as a dedicated leader in the commerce and trade sector. He noted Anjaneyulu's proactive role in YSR Congress Party’s business wing activities, praising his unwavering commitment to party programs in the past.

During the meeting, Appi Reddy inquired about Anjaneyulu’s health and extended warm wishes to him and his family. As a gesture of respect, the MLC presented a shawl to Anjaneyulu and gifted new clothes to him and his spouse, acknowledging his valuable service to the business community and the state.

In a heartfelt gesture at Anjaneyulu's residence on Friday, Appi Reddy inquired about Anjaneyulu’s well-being and honored him with a traditional shawl and new clothes for him and his wife. Speaking on the occasion, Appi Reddy remarked on the significance of Andhra Pradesh Formation Day, achieved through the sacrifice of Potti Sriramulu, and expressed that honoring a prominent Arya Vysya leader like Anjaneyulu on this day was a meaningful gesture. He further noted that Anjaneyulu exemplifies the spirit of former Chief Minister YS Rajasekhara Reddy’s ideals.

Beyond his leadership as district chamber president, Anjaneyulu has also rendered invaluable service as an executive member of the State Chamber of Commerce and Madras Chamber of Commerce. His record 34 elections as president of the chamber reflects his unwavering dedication and integrity in the trade sector, Appi Reddy stated. Describing Anjaneyulu’s humility, compassion, and philanthropic nature as his strengths, Appi Reddy extended his wishes for Anjaneyulu's continued health and prosperity.
