Pakistan Secures Dominant 152-Run Victory Against England
Multan, October 19: Host Pakistan achieved a commanding 152-run victory over England in the second Test, leveling the three-match series 1-1. England, who had previously recorded a historic win in the first Test, began their second innings chasing a target of 297 runs but fell short, thanks to a stellar bowling performance from Pakistan's bowlers.
Noman Ali and Sajid Khan combined to take a remarkable total of 20 wickets across the match, leading Pakistan to a memorable victory. Noman's exceptional bowling display in the second innings saw him claim eight wickets for just 46 runs, effectively dismantling the English batting lineup. Sajid Khan contributed by taking two wickets.
As a result of Pakistan's relentless attack, England collapsed in their second innings, managing to score only 144 runs. Captain Ben Stokes was the top scorer for England with 37 runs, followed by Brydon Carse with 27 and Ollie Pope with 22. The rest of the batting order failed to make significant contributions, sealing England's defeat.
This victory marks a significant turnaround for Pakistan, who will look to build on this momentum as the series progresses.
