Telangana Chief Minister Orders Establishment of Dedication Commission for BC Caste Census

Hyderabad ( Journalist File ) : Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has directed officials to establish a Dedication Commission for conducting a caste census for Backward Classes (BC) in the state. This decision aligns with a recent ruling by the state High Court, prompting the government to take action to comply with the court's directive.

In a statement, CM Reddy emphasized the government's commitment to conducting the caste census with transparency and integrity. He reiterated that there are no hindrances to the census and that the Dedication Commission should be formed by the coming Monday, in accordance with the court's orders.

The Chief Minister's initiative aims to ensure accurate representation and assessment of the BC communities in Telangana, reinforcing the government’s commitment to social justice and equitable resource distribution.
