₹10 Lakh Donation Presented for Capital Development and Anna Canteen Operations

Amaravati (Journalist File) : In a gesture of support for the development of Amaravati and the operation of Anna Canteens, traders and business associations from the Rayachoti constituency donated ₹10 lakh. The donation was handed over to Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu by the State Minister for Transport, Youth, and Sports, Mr. Mandipalli Ram Prasad Reddy, at the Amaravati Secretariat.

The funds are intended to aid both the ongoing capital development works in Amaravati and the upkeep of Anna Canteens, which provide subsidized meals to the underprivileged. Speaking at the event, Minister Reddy highlighted the commitment of Rayachoti's business community to the state’s welfare initiatives and expressed hope that more such contributions would follow to strengthen public projects.

Chief Minister Naidu expressed his appreciation for the generous contribution, remarking that such gestures reflect the unity and dedication of citizens towards building a prosperous Andhra Pradesh. He emphasized that the funds would directly support essential projects benefiting the people, particularly in the capital region, and assured transparency and effective use of donations for public welfare.
