Amaravati ( Journalist File ) : The Andhra Pradesh State Co-Operative Bank Ltd (APCOB) has contributed a substantial donation of ₹1.16 crore to the Chief Minister's Relief Fund. In addition to this significant sum, bank employees also presented a check for ₹8,06,597, further showcasing their commitment to supporting the community.
The donation was formally handed over to Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu by Minister for Agriculture, Achenna Naidu, during a ceremony that highlighted the bank's role in promoting social welfare.
The event was attended by key officials, including Ahmed Babu, Chief Secretary of the Cooperation Department, APCOB Managing Director Dr. R.S. Reddy, CGM Nandu Venkataratnam, and Ramachandrayya, among others. Several bank employees also participated, emphasizing the collective effort in contributing to the relief fund.
This donation reflects the ongoing support from financial institutions towards the welfare initiatives of the state government, aimed at aiding those in need during challenging times.
