K.A. Paul Calls for Immediate Release of Allu Arjun, Threatens Legal Action

Amaravati ( Journalist File ) : Praja Shanti Party president K.A. Paul has strongly reacted to the arrest of actor Allu Arjun following the stampede incident at Sandhya Theatre. In a video statement, Paul demanded that the actor be released immediately and warned that he would approach the courts with a public interest litigation (PIL) under Article 19 of the Constitution if his release was not ensured.

Paul criticized the inconsistency in the treatment of political leaders and public figures, referencing past incidents during political rallies organized by Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu. He pointed to tragic events such as the death of eight people during a rally in Kandukuru and three in Guntur, as well as the stampede that claimed 23 lives during the Godavari Pushkarams. Paul questioned why Naidu was not arrested or questioned by the authorities in those cases.

He further questioned the double standards in dealing with politicians and ordinary people, stating that such actions would not have been tolerated if ordinary citizens or film personalities were involved. Paul demanded an explanation for the arrest of Allu Arjun and urged the authorities to release him immediately.

In conclusion, K.A. Paul reiterated his stance, vowing to take legal action if the actor’s arrest was deemed unjust. He also called for an end to political corruption and a reinforcement of democratic principles.
