Hyderabad ( Journalist File ) : Tollywood actor Allu Arjun has been remanded to judicial custody for 14 days by the Nampally Court in connection with the Sandhya Theater stampede case. The actor, who was arrested by Chikkadpally police, was taken to Gandhi Hospital for medical examinations before being presented in court. Following the hearing, the court ordered his remand, and he is now being transferred to Chanchalguda Jail, where arrangements are reportedly in place for his incarceration.
In a parallel development, Allu Arjun has approached the High Court, filing a petition to quash the charges against him. The High Court is currently hearing the petition, and a verdict is awaited. Should the court rule in his favor, the remand order issued by the Nampally Court could be revoked. The outcome of the High Court's decision is expected to clarify the actor's legal standing.
